Can the help address not be set when DHCP Relay is enabled on the switch?
—
by
Generally speaking, DHCP Relay requires setting a help address. If the help address is not set, the switch will forward DHCP packets in the same VLAN.Please provide the specific switch model to confirm if it is supported.

Two switches A and B are connected through port 10. Switch A is connected to the DHCP server and it is found that both vlan10 and vlan15 on switch A can obtain IP addresses from the DHCP server. However, only vlan10 on switch B can obtain IP addresses, but VLAN15 cannot.

Please check the port VLAN settings on the switch. Please confirm that port10 on the switch has been added to VLAN 15 and that the forwarded message carries the VLAN tag.

Do multiple VLAN interfaces set on the switch support getting IP addresses from DHCP server simultaneously?
